Frolic Design collaborated with the team at Peterborough Currents to design and produce the debut print issue of their local journalism publication. The goal was to create a visually inviting, editorially-driven format that could be proudly featured in cafés, community spaces, and independent shops across Peterborough—bridging the gap between digital reporting and print culture.

Custom page templates for articles, images and features
Style guide for typography, spacing, and image treatment
Assitance in executing creative vision
Designed for approachability and readability, the printed piece added lasting visibility to the publication’s work and helped strengthen its physical presence in the region.
Copies were prominently displayed in local cafés, bookstores, and public spaces, inviting passersby to engage with thoughtful, long-form journalism in print.
